1. SET THE SCENE - Grab your favorite drinks!
I never have just one at my desk... matcha, green tea, kombucha, or whatever strikes my fancy! And of course, water is a must every time! Light a candle or incense, turn on a soothing lamp, or whatever makes your workspace feel comfortable! There's no limits or rules to what gets you going!
2. GET INTO THE MINDSET - Stretching before, during, and after is crucial!
As a product photographer, I spend long hours sitting at the computer; editing images & videos for clients and myself, organizing files, planning content creations, and so much more that involves computer work! I find I'm more productive on the days I choose to talk myself up! "You're the f***ing boss girl, you got this! Everything is in the right timing; you are so capable and amazing!" ...You get the idea!
3. ORGANIZE YOUR DAILY TASKS - Biggest Tasks First
Although it sounds intimidating to attack the biggest task on your to-do list first, I find it actually helps the day to get easier! Accomplishing the hardest or biggest task on your list first will fuel your energy with a well-earned dopamine hit! Crossing off smaller tasks will feel like a breeze after the looming big tasks are out of the way. PLUS, if your energy starts to dwindle, you will have already accomplished what you need to for the day to move the needle in your business!
4. SET YOUR INTENTION - What are your daily goals?
After your daily tasks are prioritized, state aloud or write down (aloud is best) your intention for the day. Setting an intention/goal for your day will help you to have a clear vision of the day's mission.
